For domestic addresses:
First off, include the recipient's first and last name on the top line. Write the number and street name in the address 1 field. The address 2 field is only used if there is an apartment or suite number that should be included. Include the city, state and zip code in the appropriate fields. The country should always be set to United States. The company field can remain empty or be filled out depending where the card is being sent.
For Military Addresses:
When sending a card/gift to a service member you will need to use the service member's full name, include Unit number and address in the address 1 field, include APO/FPO/DPO (Air/Army Post Office, Fleet Post Office or Diplomatic Post Office) in the city field, and AE/AP/AA in the state field. AE is the abbreviation for Armed Forces in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Canada; AP is the abbreviation for Armed Forces Pacific and is used for the Pacifics; AA is the abbreviation for Armed Forces America and it excludes Canada. The nine-digit zip code should follow the state field.
Please note that it is still being sent to a US address so you will need to leave the country as the United States.
All mail must be addressed to someone specific; addressing mail to “Any Service Member” is no longer permitted.

For International Addresses:
The first line should be the recipients first and last name. Fill out address line 1 and 2 the same as a domestic address but the city line should include the city or town name, and province or state if applicable. The zip code and country should follow.
Note: In some countries, primarily in most European countries, the postal code precedes the city or town name. In a few countries, the postal code is written at the beginning of the address. Depending on which country you are sending to, a quick Google search should determine where the postal code should be placed.
